The University of Houston Law Center will officially open its new John M. O’Quinn Law Building during a ribbon-cutting ceremony and celebration at 6 p.m. Thursday, September 22. The $93 million facility is one of the newest law school buildings in Texas and nationwide.

“This has been a decades-long dream of alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends who wanted a new building that represented the quality and caliber of the Law Center,” said University of Houston Law Center Dean Leonard M. Baynes in a press release.
