A. Shonn Brown, Clarence B. Brown III, others honored by Texas Appleseed
Nonprofit Texas Appleseed will honor A. Shonn Brown and the late Clarence B. Brown III with the J. Chrys Dougherty Good Apple Award at the 20th annual Good Apple Dinner on November 17. The Pro Bono Leadership Awards will be presented to Deloitte Consulting and Enoch Kever. The event honors legal leaders and advocates whose contributions have improved the lives of Texans.
The Good Apple Award is the public interest justice center’s highest honor. A. Shonn Brown, a community leader who is passionate about gender and racial equity, is vice president of and deputy general counsel for global litigation to Kimberly-Clark. She is the Texas Women’s Foundation immediate past chair, Hockaday School chair-elect, and a member of the boards of the Dallas Museum of Art and the Village Giving Circle.
